About Marguerite
Marguerite chose violin at six years of age, and it has been a constant part of her life in the twenty five years since. She began her journey taking private lessons with Carolyn Bever and kept up her practice at her home in South Burlington, Vermont. She joined the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association and participated in each ensemble, including two years with the Vermont Youth Orchestra. She continued on to play in college with the Hobart and William Smith Colleges String Ensemble, and started consistently playing for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours either solo or with a small group. Marguerite is currently a member of the Me2/ Community Orchestra of Burlington, and the Hildegard String Quartet.

Marguerite is a licensed Elementary Teacher who has spent six years in the public school system teaching Kindergarten through second grade. Her music education is led by her deep understanding of curriculum creation and implementation, individualized planning for each student, and the integration of fun and joy into lessons.
